Extra Credit

When I think of world history, the first thing that comes to my mind is various stages of the world, such as the Greeks and Romans and also the Ancient Egyptians and how they all lived and how we live today.

After having Dias last semester for a Hist. 152 class, all I can think about is fun! He made it quite enjoyable as I'm sure this class will be too.

The word "history" drastically change the first day of class. The first things that came to my mind was "boring." I know that this class will change my mind about history.

A couple of my Favorite teachers come to mind. One was a history teacher, and the other just your every day junior high teacher. I remember that one these teachers would sacrfice paart of our science lessons for "extended history tidbits". Because of these to teachers I do enjoy history quite abit.

first thing that comes to mind when i think of history is the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. For some reason that time period in our nation's history really stands out in my mind with MLK's stance on nonviolence and overall it prevailed.

When I think of history I think of the past. People as a whole have come a long way in every aspect of life. History is a way to gain experience by helping our future and trying to avoid repeating the past.

During High School, I thought of History as boring and dull. But now that I'm in college, my proffessors have made history so interesting! I wished I didnt have to take notes, because most days during lecture I get so caught up in the story that I forget to write it down! :) History has become very interesting to me and that is what comes to mind when I think of history now.

The first thing I think of when I hear the word history? I think of Christopher Columbus crossing the Atlantic Ocean and discorvering the new world (United States).

I think of US History, especially the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Those would have to be my favorite time periods to learn about. I also enjoy ancient Greek history too.

When I think of history, the first thing that pops into my head is the word "boring". My last few experiences with history class have actually been pretty interesting. This semester i have learned a lot of different things that I never have heard before. I never thought that I could learn so much about ancient history!

The first word that comes to my head when I hear the word history is "Huh?" I'm usually thinking, boring, why do I need to know history? My college history 121 was actually so much better than my high school history classes. I found the lectures so much more interesting, and with a bonus-I actually remembered the lectures! Before taking the class, I thought i was really going to hate it and figured it was just me getting closer to the finishings of my generals. In the end I'm glad I am took history 121 and hope to learn even more in history 122
